About me and my paintings

Artist Hemant Limaye, currently working as Art and Craft teacher at Adani Vidya Mandir, Ahmedabad. Award winning self-portrait, oil on canvas, defines the world within and the thoughts of life “the dilemma” of good and bad.  Another Self portrait in solemn or in deep thoughts, is an expression of a moment of life. Few of my works are inspired from my favorite artist G. Klimt who is an abstract expressionist. You can see the relevance of his work in mine but it is not copied. Other works, using acrylic on paper and canvas, a musician playing on the rhythm of joy, “Red Joy” is freedom of life and thoughts within. Another work presents god in the form of elephant.
